Sharingan Eye

I just bought two starters (A gold Naruto and a gold Sasuke) and was looking through the rule book and at a few cards. Two cards from the Sasuke box caught my eye.

Blood of the Uchiha Clan

Sasuke Uchiha (The foil version)

I searched the book for any ruling on the "Sharingan Eye" status, and found nothing. How does this effect the game?

There is a "Sharingan Eye" Jutsu card. It negates 1 Jutsu card being played. The requirements to play the card are "Sharingan eye status". Kakashi and some Sasuke cards already come with "Sharingan Eye", so they could play the card. But for any other card that doesn't have "Sharingan Eye", you would have to play "Blood of the Uchiha clan" and choose one of your Ninja's. Now the selected Ninja can use the "Sharingan Eye" jutsu card.

I'm assuming there are more (or will be more) cards that will require a Ninja to have the Sharingan Eye effect on them?

Yeah, there will be more. There may be more cards now that you need "Sharingan Eye" status to use, but Im not sure (I'm still pretty new). I do know that there will be at least 1 new Sharingan eye card in the next set though.

In the future I imagine there will be a release for Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and a certain move Kakashi uses a lot later on based on the Sharingan. This may require the Mangekyou Sharingan as a status that may exist later, though I guess the'll only have Sharingan. On top of that there is an event that you have to discard your hand to use and you can search a card with Sharingan Eye. It's a promo event called "Revive, Sharingan!"
