YVD is a program that lets you play Yu-gi-oh online. It has every card and is perfectly free.
You will need a un/zip prog for this, you may get one at:

There is also a link to a chat room that will almost always have someone willing to duel.
To update YVD to have cards from newer sets go to:

From here you can get new skins and sets
Instructions:
For the first time you update YVD get the all images file and use that. If you are updating sets there is more than 1 way to do it. The easy way is this:
Set Update Way 1:
Download the complete set file. Save it under C->Program Files->YVD not YVD->Sets just YVD. This way you avoid the two extra steps of the other way. Also say yes when asked to override the other yvd.set
Set update Way 2:
Download an individual set file to YVD->Sets. Then open YVD and under deck editor use the import a set option. The reason this is annoying is that you may import cards more than once, this makes it just look horrible when you are looking through cards and you have 2 of everything. It also has more steps.
Way to update Images, after the first update:
Go to C->Program Files->YVD->Images
Make a folder that will be named the same as the 3 character name on the set whose images you are getting. Then unzip the images to that folder.
Finally if you have any sort of fire wall, you will if you have cable/DSL you can get this program called hamachi. It makes LANs over the internet allowing you to battle other people with if you both normally can't host. You may get it at:

My networks are GlobalYVDX with the password:YVD
X is a number that changes if one gets full. I am currently on 3 if that fills try 4 and so on.
