I hate advance it bans cards that don't need to be banned. I'd have to disagree with that, all those cards were banned for a good reason. They were either too good, or just broken. But they may switch some cards in and out the formats in time, but then I highly doubt that for most of these cards.

I'm not saying that all of them don't need to be band but like Harpy's Feather Duster and Monster Reborn could stay in there.

It's like a "Raigeki" for the spell and traps, and we all know how good Raigeki is. I think Monster Reborn was banned because since we have Premature Burial and Call of the Haunted, and the fact that you can summon an opponent's monster REALLY hurt the opponent.

Yea but you can only have 3 in a deck so it's a 3/40 chance of drawing one. That's 7.5% of drawing that card if you only have 40 cards in your deck. Whick most ppl don't nowadays. Plus, there are still plenty of counter cards to stop those spells.

That's also true, but when you DO activate these cards against the opponent, it usually ends up turning the duel around in your favor, and usually in a HUGE way. Monster Reborn, I can maybe see coming back, but Harpies Feather Duster, no way, a possible up to -4 (or -5 if you include the field card zone) to the opponent...that's just sick and wrong.

Only if they can't counter it. And it only gets rid of magic and trap cards not monsters so they may still have a uber beast on the field takin u to town

What makes these banned cards different from the others is the ADVANTAGE that it can give you when they are successful. Yeah, it doesn't get rid of monsters, but spell and traps are still threats though.

yea like Blast Held by a Tribute is one I like That card is decent imo, but too situational for my tastes, but also has an effect that can really hurt the opponent when successful.
