YVD is not connected to Konami or Upper deck in any way, so any rulings on there may not be the correct ruleings

well... that makes it so ur opponent cant draw right? and oyu dont have to pay... and there's probably some OTK with it...

Yeah supposedly Time Seal got banned because it was actually that good of a card (the card was a 1-for-1 at WORST, and possibly a -1 to your opponent if something like a MST hits it), and to stop the abuse of the Mask of Darkness/Time Seal/Tsukuyomi lock (which is also why Mask of Darkness is limited to one), which I hear can be really effective AND annoying when done correctly, although I never went against that kind of deck myself. I also hear that another reason why it's banned because it also combos with Victory Dragon (don't ask me how because I don't know what the card does, all I know is that it's released in Japan and that they banned it over there for that reason).

Mask of Darkness/ Time Seal/ Tsukuyomi lock included Pheonix Wingwind Blast too, but that card remained untouched, and no one uses that lock any more because Tsukuyomi and Mask of Darkness were restricted to 1, making the combo too difficult to use.

they dont need to ban all of the cards, just enough to cancel the OTK

they dont need to ban all of the cards, just enough to cancel the OTK Exactly since Tsukuyomi and Mask of Darkness got resticted the OTK was dead, so there realy wasn't a reason to ban Time Seal, but I realy don't care that they banned it because I never used it. Oh and Exchange of the Spirit was a pointless ban because the OTK was dead when the card 1st came out. |

EoS is just too powerful of a card... just use basic deck destruction cards and you will have an advantage... Graceful Charity to get cards in ur gyard, Cheerful Coffin
